Yes, and we hate to see people make that government misstep.
If you already mailed in your application with payment to Texas Vital Records and you haven’t received your new Texas birth certificate replacement copy in the mail yet you can place a new order with us. We’ll rush to obtain a Texas birth certificate for you within 48-72 hours unless there are issues with the birth records.
But if you’ve submitted a Texas birth certificate amendment (correction/change) application then we can’t help you because that complex process can only be done directly through the state, it will take 6 months minimum, and it can’t be expedited in any way by any person or company.
