All filing fees for vital records are considered searching fees by the Texas Vital Statistics office and as such are not refundable or transferable to another record. Unless Texas ever changes their policies you’re paying Birth Certificate Texas to only rush file an application and search for your Texas death records with Texas Vital Records and hopefully, a death record is found in the Texas records database so the state can issue you a new certified Texas death certificate copy.
